One of the parts of the body that is hard to get rid of fat is the belly. Some people are contented with their body size and weight, but are frustrated because of their fat and chubby tummy that's so hard to make disappear. I have women friends who were size 8-12, who were comfortable with what they had and had no plans of losing weight back then, just lose that stubborn fat in their belly area. What they did was go to the gym religiously, targeting their bellies, but for months, no one has attained the goal of a flat and toned abs.

These women were a part of the group of people in the world, who believes that crunches and abs exercises alone can eliminate belly fat. I kept telling my friends that in order to lose their belly fat, they had to lose weight as well. They never listened, and reasoned that my body and my tummy look great mainly because of genes. Well, at least not until none of what they did, worked on them. Below are some of the tips that I shared with my friends that helped them make their bellies fit and fat-free. Eat less, move more When I say eat less, I don't mean starve yourself to death. Some women think that the best way to lose weight is to go on a crash diet. When you starve yourself by skipping meals, your body responds by slowing down your metabolism. A slow metabolism means your body's fat burning action will slow down as well.

Furthermore, if you will lose weight through starving, you will only drop your water weight and the effect will be temporary. Who the heck wants to starve, right? Eating is fun, especially when the foods you eat are healthy. The key is a well-balanced diet, and consuming only what you can burn (through activities and exercise). Eat foods that are rich in fiber, because they can help your body burn fat faster. Fiber-rich foods are mostly wheat products, vegetables and fruits. These fiber sources are also rich in vitamins and minerals that the body needs to function well.

They also help prevent diseases, from common colds, to some types of cancers. Aside from a proper diet, the key to burning fat fast to lose weight is by having regular workout exercises, specifically cardio workout exercises that have an effect to the entire body, not just a particular area. Cardio exercises impacts the fats in the whole body, leading to weight loss. As you begin losing weight, you will see that every part of your body that has fats will follow. That is the reason why you need to lose weight first, in order to get rid of fats in your belly area. Same goes with fats in the arms, hips, face, and thighs.
