Medifast Diet – The 5&1Plan

With the Medifast diet, you can lose up to 20 pounds in one month. That is how quick it is to get rid of those health threatening fats. Moreover, losing weight quickly and safely does not have to be complicated. Maintaining your health by losing weight does not have to be an excruciating ordeal of starvation and sweating a river, either. More often than not, people who want to lose weight suffer the bothersome calorie counting and point system. With the Medifast 5 & 1 Plan, dieters do not have to be painstakingly hassled by these time-consuming, and sometimes confusing, stuff. What is this Medifast 5&1 plan and how does it work?

The Medifast diet is made of clinically proven meal replacements. These healthy meal replacements, which are low in calorie, can help a dieter lose 2-5 pounds per week, yielding to a maximum of 20 pounds in 30 days. In that short span of time, dieters can lose weight without having to starve and lose energy, too. That is because, with the 5 & 1 plan, the dieter will eat every 2-3 hours. In a day, the dieter must have to drink at least 64 ounce of water or any other non-caloric beverages (but, of course, water is still the best). With this simple, easy-to-follow procedure of losing weight with Medifast, the dieter can stay on the 5&1 plan until the desired weight is obtained. Then, the dieter can level up to the next diet plan for maintaining weight.

The dieter eats 6 meals a day with the 5 & 1 Plan. This Medifast diet consists of 5 Medifast meals and 1 Lean & Green meal, which are chosen by the dieter. This diet plan has more than 60 meals to choose from and the dieter has the prerogative to customize their own combination of 5 Medifast meals and 1 Lean & Green meal. However, the bars are limited to one in a day. Examples of the 5 Medifast low calorie meals are bars, chili, pudding, scrambled eggs, shakes, soups, stew, and oatmeal. The 1 Lean & Green meal is a combined menu of lean protein, such as chicken, turkey, lamb, beef, and fish, and salad or vegetables or both. There is no scheduled time when the dieter must eat the 1 Lean & Green meal so it can be eaten at any time of the day. With that wide range of choices, the dieter will not have to be fed up with eating the same menu everyday.

Eat regularly and properly and you will lose weight in just a month. Doing so, however, must be guided by the experts. This means having to follow the quick, simple, and healthy Medifast diet plan called the 5 & 1 plan. The dieter just has to eat 6 meals a day, which is a combination of 5 Medifast meals and 1 Lean and Green meal. The dieters will customize their own choice of these meals combination.
